At the halfway mark of our Toastmaster 2019-2020 year, Division A & G jointly offer you round 2 Club Officer Training (COT) opportunities for all elected club officers. This round 2 training focuses on helping your club officers to polish the required knowledge and practical ideas they need to get to Distinguished club status, better member experience, and increased member retention. Mark John Stewart is an award-winning entrepreneur, charitable advisor, public speaker, and instructor. He is the Managing Director of Wentworth Strategy Group and the President of marketing agency FlyPrint. Mark John consults on strategy, marketing, communications, and governance with organizations across the world, and is an instructor in the McMaster-Syracuse Master of Communications Management program. An experienced board director, he is also an Executive Advisor with Empowerment Squared, a Canadian charity dedicated to empowering newcomer and marginalized youth and communities in Canada, Liberia, Ghana, and South Africa.

Emily Nichols
She wanted to solve equations for the rest of her life, until she discovered leadership. Emily Nichols is a professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing - everything from the granola bars in your lunch to the paint on your car. Speaking from the stage or the factory floor, Emily inspires technical people to embrace their leadership skills and creativity, so they can solve problems better, faster, and have more fun doing it. Pauly Plewa
Pauly is a true racer at heart, having raced motocross for 11 years at the highest level of amateur racing in Canada and the USA. In 2012, on the verge of his AMA professional debut, he suffered a bad crash leaving him instantly paralyzed from the chest down.

Being the ambitious child athlete that he was, Pauly taught himself how to walk and race again by applying the tools he learned from his racing career to his rehab.

Today, Pauly is chasing championships on four wheels, teaching people about safe driving, and sharing his story about overcoming disability and envisioning wellness.

Division M will host their Club Officer Training Make Up Session in January for those unable to make TLI! This training provides an opportunity for sharing best practices, getting help and inspiration as well as an opportunity to network with other club executives within our Division - all are welcome at this training.

Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) Club Officer Training Round 2

Please be advised that due to the upcoming weather as forecasted for January 18, District 86 is SCALING BACK the TLI1 Training to one session. 

Your safety is important to us! For those who are able to attend, you will receive credit for participating in the club officer training and still arrive home before the snowstorm intensifies in the afternoon. Be mindful to exercise caution when driving.

For those who are unable to attend, please contact our Program Quality Director, Jocelyne Vezina, or our District Director, Jacklyn A. Payne, to transfer your payment of the Jan 18 training towards the Feb 1training. Thank for your understanding and we apologize for any convenience that we may have caused.
